Last week we took a brief look into the Kinetic R3 and today we're taking a deeper look into the system and some of the customizable options that it offers. As you know, Overclockers UK offer a range of gaming PCs, each with customisable elements that will allow you to develop your perfect gaming PC.
The Kinetic R3 is an entry-level gaming PC; perfect for those who have a small budget, or for those just starting out as PC gamers, but are still looking for something which provides a strong performance. First off, you have the choice of a range of cases from amazing brands such as Coolermaster, Corsair and Fractal Designs. Personally we like the Kolink Inspire Series K2 which is featured in the article image at the top, but it's good to have a choice!
The base Kinetic R3 comes with an AMDRyzen 3 3200G Quad Core 4.0GHz processor and Vega 8 graphics. As you'd expect this can be tweaked to increase the processor power from 4.0GHz to up to 4.5GHz, and also to Vega 11. There are also options to add other dedicated graphics ranging from the Palit GeForce GTX 1650 StormX at £149.99 to the Palit GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER DUAL at £359.99
The basic memory option for the Kinetic R3 is the Team Group Vulcan Z G-Force 8GB (2x4GB), however if you're looking for something a bit punchier you can choose to increase this to the Vulcan Z T-Force 16GB (2x8GB), the Vulcan Z T-Force 32GB (2x16GB) or go fancy with the Nighthawk RGB 16GB (2x8GB). The Kinetix R3 comes equipped with a Seagate BarraCuda 1TB secondary drive however if this isn't down your street there are a fantastic range of options from Seagate, TeamGroup, Samsung and WD Blue, all with a range of specs and prices.
