Nintendo to open Switch Lounges at some US Airports

First we had Atari opening a chain of hotels across the US, now we have Nintendo Switch lounges opening across a number of US airports? What next? Gaming trains, planes and cruise ships? We can hope...

Unfortunately for our our non-US followers most of this activity is across the pond but as well all know, when things go well in the US we usually start seeing activity in the UK soon after. Having said that, the first installment of these Nintendo Switch Lounges are only for a limited time:

O'Hare International - Chicago, IL. February 17 - March 29.

Dallas Love Field - Dallas, TX. February 13 - March 26.

Tacoma International - Seattle, WA. February 17 - March 29.

Dulles International - Washington, D.C. Februaru 17 - March 29

To start off with there will only be a handful of games available at the lounges including Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party and Tetris 99.

It's unclear whether this will be a long term plan for Nintendo, or whether it will be something they spread into other industries like hotels, or trains. Presumably it will depend on the success of these next 6 weeks, but if you ask me people will be lined up to play some Switch and pass some of the time!
