E3 Highlights: Square Enix

A number of Square Enix’s titles have already been announced and talked about quite heavily so we’ve focused on those with more information as a result of the conference and those that have minor additions or none at all are at the bottom.

Babylon’s Fall

Not much information was really provided for this, leaving a very intrigued crowd. The game has a very Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones feel as the video shows various historical events, potentially involved magic, secrets and mythical beasts. Certainly a game to watch out for, and Druid Gaming will be releasing more information when we can.

The Quiet Man

Again not much to go on but imagination here. New York appears to be the scene and some very nice visual effects. A younger man appears in an alleyway and proceeds to beat down a gang. At one point the boy points to his ear as if he’s suggesting he’s deaf which immediately makes me think it’s some kind of blind version of Daredevil, clearing up the streets. Or maybe it’s a revenge fight. We’ll see I guess.

Octopath Traveller

Druid Gaming are quite the fans of this little beauty. We’re always up for seeing different artistic styles in games and even more up for turn-based RPG’s. It takes us back to Suikoden and the like, which have unfortunately become lost in the times. This could be a nice little revival of that game type.

Just Cause 4

Follow the Story of Rico Rodriguez in this open-world shooter. The series continues with very much the same feel as the first 3 games although positive changes are to be made to the grabbling gook, vehicle handling and the weather conditions.

Kingdom Hearts 3

More information was released about about Kingdom Hearts 3 in Square Enix’s conference yesterday, further to that already announced in Microsoft’s conference. The due date for this is January 29th 2019, and will feature a number of major characters, such as Ratatouille (from Disney’s Ratatouille), along with Kairi and Axel.
