Imagine going to a hotel where every room has a different video game theme. Well that's exactly what Atari are doing! According to The Verge, Atari have licenced their name to True North Studio and GSD Group with the intention of opening 8 different hotels across the US including Austin, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle. Each room will supposedly offer augmented reality and virtual reality and will potentially have a theme from various Atari games. For some of you who will no doubt have little experience with the Atari, here are some of their games:

Left to right: Frogger, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac Man & Asteroids.

Aside from standard hotel ameneties like bars, restaurants and gyms; the hotels will also feature a number of other awesome features including gaming lounges and Esports arenas where fans can watch tournaments and competitions. We're jealous that this is only going to be in the US, but as with many things it might perhaps spark an interest for companies to do this in the UK in the near future.
